Kundapur: The Kundapur police arrested 2 persons carrying Charas (Hashish) worth Rs.5000 on their bike and arrested them on a tip-off from local people on the night of Jan.3, Friday.

The prime accused in the case, Pradeep Devadiga doing business in Charas from Room No.105 at M D Developers building as reported by the 2 arrested peddlers, Raghavendra Shetty and Raghavendra, was absconding as soon as he got the news of the arrest of the 2 agents in his business.

The arrest was made by a police team, of Circle Inspector P M Diwaker and sub inspector Jayarama D Gowda under the guidance of Kundapur DySP C B Patil.

The police team has spread a net to catch Devadiga, the prime suspect who is hiding.
