Mangaluru : The Mangaluru North police have arrested two more persons in connection with the alleged confrontation and harassment of three students from Kerala at a mall on Tuesday. A group confronted and harassed a boy for walking along with his two classmates, one of whom belonged to a different community, at City Centre Mall. The police acted swiftly to take away the three students in a police jeep. The boy filed a complaint against the group.
The police on Wednesday arrested Mansoor (35), a resident of Natekal, who worked in the mall. On Friday they have arrested Khader, who is a member of Bajpe Gram Panchayat. They have also arrested Asif (32), a resident of Surathkal, who was part of the group. The police are searching for other persons in the group. All the arrested persons have been released on bail, the police added.
