Mangaluru: The daily flight connectivity between Mangaluru and Bengaluru will increase from March 27, as Jet Airways will operate two more flights in addition to its existing five flights.
One of the two new flights to be introduced will not operate on Tuesdays.
Flight 9W2352 would depart from Mangaluru International Airport at 2 p.m. on all days except Tuesday and reach Kempe Gowda International Airport, Bengaluru at 3.15 p.m. Flight 9W2402 will leave Mangaluru at 10.50 p.m. and arrive at Bengaluru at 12.05 am. Both of them would be ATR-72 aircraft.
Presently, the same airliner operates five flights to Bengaluru. They leave here at 7.05 am (9W833), 8.10 am (9W2400); 11.20 am (9W2756); 4.55 pm (9W2783) and 8.05 pm (9W2736). Of them, flight 9W2756 does not operate on Tuesdays.
The airliner will introduce a new flight to Mumbai from the same date. Flight 9W438 will leave Mangaluru at 5.25 pm and reach Mumbai at 7 pm. It will operate on all days except Tuesdays.
Curerntly, it operates three daily flights to Mumbai, at at 8.35 am, 10.55 am and 4.05 pm.
