Kasaragod: Two young women, Jazeela (31) and zeenat (28), from Kaniya Kinnu  and Udayavara (Manjeshwar), staying in a guest house located near Tachangad GH School near here, were arrested by town CIP Babu Perinjayat and his team, on Wednesday, March 7 on complaints of luring youths and looting them by threatening black mail and sex overtures.

Three other youngsters in the racket as accomplices of the detainees are absconding. The team of 5 would accost youths befriend them and take them to a deserted place to threaten by blackmail and polish off their valuables before vanishing.

A complaint lodged by shamsuddin in Nileswar and his friend, brought in the police investigators into the net.

On march the two girls came in a Santro car and took the 2 boys to a secluded area and robbed them of mobile handsets and cash of Rs 2500. they took another Rs 5000 from the ATM account of the two boys and fled in the car.

They were rounded up this week. The police are hunting for the 3 accomplices in the con game who had back stepped.
