Kundapur :  Two Muslim youth were attacked by some miscreants  at Kaipady in Kundapur taluk on October 17, Thursday evening, when they were taking their buffalo home.

Those attacked are  Basheer (20) and Bathish(28), sons  of Monu Saheb a resident of Kodi. Both have sustained serious injuries and have been hospitalized.

It is said that Monu Saheb’s buffalo had gone missing and was later noticed  by a former KPTCL lineman Narasimha Mogaveera near a lake and tied it near the house.  When the father and sons were returning with their buffaloes they were attacked. The condition of Basheer is said to be critical.

Kundapur police have registered a case.
