Mangaluru : Two persons drowned in the Arabian Sea at Kodibengre village on Thursday. Their bodies were recovered on Friday.

According to the Malpe police, five friends from Udyavara village – Pradeep Kotian (23), Pramod (23), Ashu, Manjunath and Naveen R. – went to have bath at the Delta Beach around 5 p.m. on Thursday. Of the five, Pradeep Kotian and Pramod got caught in strong waves and drowned. Their bodies were found on the Kodibengre beach around 6 a.m. on Friday.
