Puttur: In a tragic incident two youth died after their bike hit a car near Sunkadakatte on Kadaba –Subrahmanya road, on Sunday evening.

Lakshmisha (17) of Bagpuni and Shreyas (17) of Bilinele are the deceased youth.

Both were moving towards Kadaba when a Maruti omni car collided to their bike. The car was plying towards Subrahmanya from Dharmasthala. It was carrying passengers from Bengaluru who had come here to visit the religious places.

Both died on the spot after hitting by the car. Shreyas was a tenth standard student and he was taking coaching classes in a private tutorial. There was a marriage function of another student in the class, so twelve students including these two had planned to attend it.

Though a vehicle was booked to go to marriage, Shreyas and Lakshmish opted bike riding to attend the marriage.
