Kaup: Two youths drowned at Kaup beach here on Sunday, October 18 evening

The two drowned youth have been identified as Karthik and Rupesh.

Rupesh was rescued and was given oxygen, however, he died a while later.

Beach Manager Prashant Karker, Vineet, Pratham Damodra Putran and Chandrahas Have made an effort to save Rupesh, but he could not be saved,

The tragedy occurred when a group of five youths from Bangalore were swimming on Kaupu beach,  The search operation for Karthik is underway.

Kapu police officials visited the spot.
