Bengaluru: Minister for food and civil supplies U T Khader has been appointed as the district in-charge Minister of Chamarajanagar district with immediate effect.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah issued an order with this regard on Tuesday.

The previous district in-charge Minister H S Mahadevprasad died due heart attack at Chikkamagaluru on January 3. Since then the post was vacant and now U T Khader will be replacing H S Mahadevprasad as the new district in-charge Minister.
