Mangalore : Minister for Health and Family Welfare Karnataka U T Khader, urged the hospital authorities to initiate work at the earliest and stressed to upgrade the Physiotherapy Department in Wenlock Hospital.

He was speaking at the Wenlock Hospital on October 22, Wednesday he said that government has sanctioned the amount of Rs 5 lakh under Arogya Suraksha Nidhi scheme and is willing to spend another Rs 25-30 lakh for infrastructure development.

In a meantime Rotary Club Mangalore assured to provide equipment worth Rs 25 lakh to the Physiotherapy Department.

Rotary Club Mangalore president Jatin Attavar and Architect Venkatesh Pai were present.
