Udupi : Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha attended the Mehendi function of an ASP daughter, without wearing mask, has become a point of debate particularly when strict Covid guidelines are in place.

It is said, the DC attended the Mehendi ceremony at around 8.45 pm on Friday and had given a pose for photo without wearing mask leading to lot of criticism.

Meanwhile, there has been another allegation that hundreds were served lunch on Friday at the court premises by violating Covid guidelines. The Deputy Commissioner has said notice has been served against those who violated the rule in this regard.
