Udupi: The ISPRL, a private Company, has assured the deputy Commissioner Dr. M.T. Reju that it will solve the issues brought to the notice of its officer Veerabhadra on a top priority basis.
The district executive officer, DC had visited the Paadoor unit of ISPRL in Majoor area of kaup(kapu)on Sunday October23 and asked the industrial production Co., to solve the local problems of people as early as possible.
Dr. Reju had pointed out that labourers from outside Karnataka were creating problems for local women. He demanded that roads be constructed to connect the factory by shorter routes for local workers.
Veerabhadra assured the DC that basic needs would be fulfilled on top basis. He said that action will be taken against outsiders who harass local women. The shorter road would be ready in 6 months to connect Shirva and Majoor via Shantigudde. On Paadoor to Thokur, a fresh survey could be conducted he agreed. Devdas Hebbar, K.S. Poojary and P.Arun Shetty were present at the DCs visit.
