Udupi: The district declared travel ban across the district from April 10.

District Deputy Commissioner, G Jagadeesha said,  no one can leave the district and nobody enter from outside the district.

He added that the COVID-19 situation in the district has largely been brought under control, however, as an extra precautionary measure, this move is being undertaken.

He has requested the public to cooperate in the ban’s implementation.

Presently, three COVID-19 positive cases are admitted at isolation wards in the district and are reported to be recovering.
