Udupi/Mangalore : The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) having announced the SSLC results for the academic year 2014-15, A total of 8.56 lakh students took the exam held between 30 March and 13 April and conducted in 3,003 centres across the state.
In terms of district-wise performance, Udupi (93.37 percent) has the highest pass percentage, followed by Chikkodi and Uttara Kannada. Gadag is in the last place. Girls have outshone boys again, with a pass percentage of 86.23 as against 77.85.
On a shocking note, 36 private schools have produced 0% pass result.
However, the overall pass percentage has slipped by 3 percent this year. In 2014, it was 85.37% as compared to this year’s 82.82 percent.
In the first language, 1796 students have got cent percent; 1,434 students have scored centum in mathematics and 308 students in science.

Supplementary Exam
Supplementary exam will be held between 15 June and 22 June. The application has to be sent on or before 21 May.
Photocopying answer sheets
Students who feel that they deserve better marks and are not satisfied with the score, can apply for photocopies of answer sheets or revaluation, or retotalling. Application forms for the same will be provided in their respective schools. The last date to apply for getting photocopies of answer sheets is 22 May.
