Udupi: Karnataka State government has appointed Dr Sanjeev M Patil as Superintendent of Police (SP) and transferred present Udupi SP KT Balakrishana to Bengaluru, according to an order on Friday.
Dr Sanjeev Patil transferred from Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) head office located in Bengaluru where he has been serving as SP. Prior to his service at ACB, Patil had served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Mangaluru Commissionerate limits.
Dr Patil received Chief Minister’s Gold Medal in 2013 for his service in the police department. He is one among the 23 KPSC grade officers who recently promoted as IPS by Karnataka state government. Present Udupi SP KT Balakrishna transferred as SP, Commandant General, and Home Guard Bengaluru.
