Mangalore: The immediate former BJP Karnataka unit chief, and Udupi MP, D.V. Sadananda Gowda of Puttur, is expected to be the next chairman of Karnataka Milk Federation in Bangalore, at a time when his resignation as govt, nominee director has been made but not accepted till now by the govt.
K.S. Eashwarappa, present BJP state chief, had to intervene and persuade Gowda to wait for certain developments in the party to take place. Gali Somashekhar Reddy, the last among 3 Reddy brothers, has been told by BJP central leaders to quiet and make way for DVS.
Gowda in the meantime, was hobnobbing with dissenters in BJP, criticizing CM Yeddyurappa. Since the High Command has now made the road smooth for Gowda, he may assume duty as KMF chief, as a friend of Eashwarappa, Ananth Kumar (national G.S.) and Jagadish Shettar, a group waiting to dethrone CM Yeddyurappa,- Shanti – Snathi.
