Udupi: Udupi police handed over the recovered items which were recovered from the theft cases since 2016 January to July, at D R Office on Monday.

69 cases of theft has been registered in Udupi district in 7 months and police have recovered 49,01,220 items of 49 cases. On Monday police have handed over recovered items of worth Rs 28,97,720.

The items were handed over by the district Superintendant of Police K T Balakrishna.

Udupi sub divisional police have recovered items of worth Rs 20,25,020, Kundapur divisional police have recovered items of Rs 16.53.000 and Karkala divisional police have recovered items of worth Rs 12,23,200, informed SP K T Balakrishna.
