Udupi : The Udupi police have successfully nabbed a man in connection with the 75-year-old woman murder case.

The accused is identified as Annappa Poojary (32), son of Eshwara of Santhekatte.

Reportedly, Annappa and an partner in crime murdered Radhu Karkera (75), in her house in Ammunje, and burgled house and vanished with gold jewelry worth Rs. 1.5 lakh.

It is said that Annappa had been to Radhu Karkera’s house to cut a tree, came to know about the  gold she possess and killed her with the help of his associate.
