Udupi :   The famous Vitlapindi will be held at Sri Krishna Mutt on August 29, Thursday.
Vedic Worship and other functions  going on  today morning itself,  Bhajans. Anna Santarpane and Vittlapindi celebrations will be held at 3 p.m. In this occasion Contests for different Veshadharis will be held.

On August 28, Wednesday,  Sri Krishna Mutt celebrated a grand Sri Krishna Janmashtami with great religious fervor.

Thousands of devotees crowded the temple town since afternoon. Paryaya Sri Sode Vadiraja Mutt  Sri Vishwa Vallabha Theertha Swamiji of offered Tulasi Archane to Lord Sri Krishna  on August 28 night.

Around 60 cooks prepared  one lakh chakkulis and two lakh laddoos and the same were distributed to devotees after the pooja in the night.

Bhajans programme held at Vasanth Mahal by different Bhajan troupes.  

Huli Veshadharis  performed play in the temple town on Wednesday.
