Udupi : Welfare Party of India (WPI) Udupi unit will be launched at a formal ceremony at Udupi Town Hall on March 24, Sunday.
Addressing the reporters at the pres meet held at Udupi Press Club on Mar 21, Thursday, office bearers of the party said that the party is an option for the poor and common people.
They also said that the party will not have members with communal and corrupt mentality and represents the common man.
The party will be established in the society based on universal brotherhood and provide developmental schemes to women.
Leaders of Welfare Party of India National Vice President Dr BT Lalitha Nayak, State President Akbar Ali, General Secretary Mohammed Ibrahim, State President of the minority wing of the Party Laiju Sebastian and Kasargod District Vice President Ravindra Brahmeshwar will participate in the event.
