Mangaluru: A traditional fishing boat capsized near Kotepura, in Ullal on Saturday, a fisherman is feared drowned, and others two rescued.

A Tamil Nadu origin Chandran (32) is gone missing. His companions Kumaran and Menex have been rescued.

Mohammed Fayaz, a social worker and resident of Kotepura who jumped in to rescue the fishermen, suffered severe injuries after he hit himself against a boulder, he was rushed to a hospital but succumbed. However, the locals managed to rescue two fishermen; search is on for the third man.
