Mangalore: The Crime Intelligence Bureau of Ullal Station PSI Shyamsundar H M along with his staffs were successful in arresting two person and seized five two wheelers on June 6, Monday.
Speaking at the press meet held at his chamber on June 7, Tuesday, Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said that the Ullal station police officials had investigated the details on the motar bike No. K A 19 Q 8893 kept for inspection near Someshwar Temple. When the officials investigated on the vehicle in the Ullal station, the vehicle is related to the theft case number 149/2011 column 379 IPC.
When interrogated the person, he said his name to be Abdul Mannan alias Munaf (20) son of Abdul Khader Musliar residing near Alekala Cycle Shop, Ullal. He said that they were residing in the rented house owned by Abbas. According to the information provided b y him, the police officials collected information on his partner in crime Ahmed Rameez and arrested him on May 5 near Ambika Road and seized another bike bearing the number KL 14 G 1960. Ahmed Rameez, son of Hameed, Zakurope Manzil, near Old Police Station, Ullal.
The other three seized vehicles are Chasis no.04116F10403, Engine No. 04M15E10383 (Without number plate), Chasis no. 99J19C11266, Engine No. 99J17111586 (Without number plate) and Dismantled parts of M/c number KA19 EA 7009. The seized vehicles is worth Rs 1,00,000. The three seized vehicles come under Ullal station limits and two robbed from Kasargod district.
