Mangaluru: Ullal Town Municipal Council member’s car parked in front of the house was attacked by miscreants on Wednesday late night at Ullal.

It was Ullal TMC member Farooque Ullal’s car and he is the district Congress spokesperson and a Congress leader.

He noticed the incident on Thursday morning when he came out of the house to go for Namaz, he found shattered pieces of his car’s window shield.

“I do not have any vengeance with anyone. Some people are disturbing the tourist who visit Ullal darga and demanding hafta from them. Police must open an outpost near darga to avoid such incidents,” said Farooque speaking to the reporters.

A case stands registered at Ullal police station.
