Bantwal : Bantwal town police have arrested one person in a raid on an unauthorized slaughter house  at Kaikamba Talipadpu near BC Road on Tuesday afternoon. Three other accused fled the scene.

The raid was conducted by Bantwal Circle Inspector Anil S Kulkarni and town police inspector B Shekhar.  Beef and cattle heads were found in the house. An autorickshaw and a pick-up vehicle were seized.

Further investigations are underway.
