Mangaluru: “Drainage water is flowing through the large streams inside the city and causing trouble to the public. So, this will be sorted out under state government’s Amruth scheme,” said MLA J R Lobo.
He was speaking after laying foundation stone for compound wall to drainage at Jappukudpadi at the cost of Rs 45 lakh, compound wall near Urwa Hogebail stream on Tuesday.
He also laid foundation stone for Alape north ward Paeramboku stream compound wall construction which will be built at the cost of Rs 360 lakh and Kulashekara stream compound wall which will be built a the cost of Rs 30 lakh.
Corporaters Shailaja, Raghakrishna, Prakash Alae, KSRTC Director T K Sudheer, MUDA former president Dr B G Suvarna and others were present.
