Mangalore : State Minister for Education Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri who was in the district on May 14, Monday, had a great day visiting religious shrines and also enjoying a cruise at Cruise and Dine, Mangalore’s first ever floating restaurant, before leaving for the capital. The minister surprised many as he was at absolute ease, seeming least bothered about the political crisis that has rocked the state in the recent few days.
Kageri who was at Moodbidri on May 13, Sunday to take part in Alva’s College convocation, spent the next day visiting various temples and even enjoying a cruise.
It later came to light that the minister had no flight to return and his flight was scheduled to take off at 7.45 pm on Monday.
