Mangaluru: Mithun Rai, a former Youth Congress president, has been disappointed with the election of Moodbidri Assembly constituency.

Former minister and current MLA Abhayachandra Jain filed nomination in Moodbidri as Congress candidate. Jain, who is accused of allegations of corruption, has already opposed the youth Congress leaders.

Mithun Rai is facing a situation where she has spent a lot of time spending over two years as a candidate. Ivan D’Souza, who has been in charge of the ticket for some of the leaders’ calculations, said that he could get himself. So Ivan is also a villain with Abhayachandra Jain for the young Congress leaders.

Everybody knows that Moodbidri is not easy for Congress without Mithun. So Mithun has started a new job in Congress to urge him. The Lok Sabha elections will be held next year and there is a shortage of candidates in the Congress sphere.

AICC general secretary Hariprasad, the influential leader Kanachur Monu, Mohan has tried. Ivan D’Souza is likely to appear in this list.

Meanwhile, veteran leaders have proposed that Mithun Rai, an unhappy leader of the district and his own fan base, would be given the opportunity to contest the Lok Sabha.
