Belthangady: An unidentified body has found at Charmadi Ghats 11 turn, on Monday and police have informed that the identification of the body is not done yet.

A body of a woman of age approximately 30-35 was found in Charmadi Ghat’s valley. There is a tattoo in her left hand, in which ‘Priya’ has been written and on right had there are burnt marks, informed police.

It is suspected that the body was brought to Charmadi after killing her somewhere else. As a evidence for this there are marks of holding her neck around the neck.

The body was found nearly 80 feet below the road. Police and locals struggled to bring the body on road. She was wearing a white chudidar with black design on it and a black pant.

Moodigere police are investigating the case.
