Mangaluru: Unidentified group of men assaulted on a Madrasa student on Monday at D G Katte, Konaje.

Raziq, son of Mayyadi is the injured student. He is a resident of Jalli Cross, Kairangala.

Unidentified men who came on a bike stabbed Razik. First they stopped the bike to ask direction to some place and as Razik was showing the direction they attacked him.

Razik was rushed to a local hospital at Deralakatte soon after the incident.

From past four days this is the fourth incident of stabbing and escaping. The commissioner has extended the CrPC section 144 in the district and the security has been tightened in Ullal and Konaje area.
