Mangaluru : Union Government is dividing the people on religious way. All religions teach the peace and harmony, Hindu religion also educates same to the community said, Karnataka Minister for Women and Child Development Umashree here on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

Speaking to the media at the District Congress office she said, People should maintain peace and harmony in the society. Everyone live with peace, she added.

India is a Hindu country in long time. We all are Indians, Why politically dividing people in the name of Hindutva, she questioned.

The union government trying to impose land acquisition bill, the state government will not allow it in the state. The government was working towards giant corporate. BJP government totally neglected the farmers. She alleged.

The new rules are giving importance to Anganwadi’s. They are not listening the fact. Anganavadis would not be privatized. She said.
