Mangaluru: Union Home Minister Rajanath Singh visited the Sri Krishna Mutt on April 23, Monday during the course of his visit to the district. The Union Minister also met Paryaya Phalimar Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji and sought his blessings.

During the talks with the minister, the seer urged him to take steps to provide permanent security arrangements for the Sri Krishna Mutt which was in the hit list of terrorists.

MP Shobha Karandlaje, Udupi BJP candidate Raghupathi Bhat, District BJP President Mattar Ratnaker Hegde and others were present.
