Moodbidri : The Jugalbandi from Grammy award recipient Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Surmani Pravin Godkhindi mesmerized the audience on day 3 ‘Alva’s Virasat’ held on January 7, Saturday.

T D Pai former general manager of Canara Bank, Karnataka Bank M V Chandrasekhat Karanth, general manager and V N Manohar, deputy general manager of Karnataka Bank, and Alva’s Education foundation chairman Mohan Alva inaugurated the stage programme.

The Apoorva Jugalbandi with Suben Chatterjii on tabla, Sumith Ramachandran on electric guitar, Prayumna on piano and Sambith Chatterjii on jazz drums enthralled the audience.

Mohan Veena enthralled the crowd with a composition from Sleepless Night.

The distinctive unification of classical and western musical instruments made the concert memorable.
