Mangalore : The official Cricket World Cup song ‘As De Ghuma Ke’ lingers in every Indian’s ear, but now the organization United Foundation has brought out another song, ‘Jeethega Tu’ composed by Kerala based musician and cricket fan Joe Jee Mathew.
Fr Valerian, chairman of Sandesha Institution released the album Cd ‘Jeethega Tu’ at the press club on March 10, Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Tobin Joseph, managing executive of United Foundation said that it is a foundation that working the field of education providing service to empower the students in the backward society for their higher education.
As the trust members of this organization belongs to SCS College of Nursing, this is the first Hindi cricket album by the nursing student community of Mangalore.
The motivated track is a fast number that gets one charged up with the simple, yet powerful lyrics penned by well-known violinist Padma Shankar. The sung of sung energetically by Benny Dayal from Kerala. The video of this track revolves around cricket and was directed by ad film maker Prashanth Murali. It was shot on the beaches of Kerala and in the sand dunes of Saudi Arabia early this year.
The video shows children playing cricket and an old man joining them, indicating that this game is loved by all and there is no age limit to experience the true spirit of the game. United Foundation dedicates the album as a tribute to Indian Cricket team wishing them all the best to win this world cup.
