Mangalore : The graduation and diploma awards ceremony of the Unity Academy of Education was held in its campus on Feb 5, Saturday. Unity Academy of Education Chairman Dr. C. P. Habeeb Rahman presided over the event.
The chief guest of the event was Deputy Speaker Yogish Bhat.  The guests of honor were Vinaya Hegde, the chancellor of Nitte Education Trust, and B. Ahmed Haji Mohiudeen, the chairman of BA Group of Industries and Education Institutes. Ajmal M. Habeeb, the trustee of Unity Academy of Education; Ashfaq M. Habeeb, the trustee of Unity Academy of Education; and Professor Vimala Prasad, the principal of Unity Academy of Education, were also present.
The principal read out the annual report.
Student achievers who were about to receive the graduation honors arrived in a procession. MLA Yogish Bhat conferred the graduation certificates on them. Vinay Hegde conferred awards as well as diploma certificates on the students. Roselina Rego recited the profession oath on behalf of all the new professionals.
