Mangalore : The Unity Health Complex inaugurated the Emergency & Day Care Centre and Operation Theatre Complex at the premises of the hospital on January 7, Friday.
IGP Alok Mohan, Western Range inaugurated the Emergency & Day Care Centre. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Unity Health Complex is nothing less than the World Class.
He also said that, ‘The links of Police Department with Hospitals are very strong and I have not seen a hospital like Unity even in Bangalore’. The facility given to the patients and the service maintained throughout the decades are outstanding. All the department in the hospitals are taken care and maintained.
Prof Dr M Abdul Rahiman, Former Vice Chancellor – Kannur & Calicut Universities inaugurated the Operation Theatre Complex and said that the Hospital has used the nano technology and anti bacterial is the product of nano technology. The hospital has established best centres and theatre. Further the senior doctors present in the hospital must train the junior doctors and give them the better part of science and technology.
Presiding over the event, Dr C P Habeeb Rahman, Chairman of Unity Care and Health Services Ltd, said that the hospital staffs are fortunate to have two eminent personalities in the event. He said that IGP Alok Mohan has got inquisitive mind and Dr M Abdul Rahiman is the first person to start bio-science department in Mangalore.
Describing about the modern medicine, he said that there are three procedure in modern medicine like diagnosis, emergency management and surgical procedure and unity is well equipped with all the three from the decades. The hospital also includes space, equipment and personal which is the reason behind the success.
He also said that, by the end of 2011 the Unity Health Care will find other area’s to develop which will contribute to the society. Later he appealed the doctors and staffs to continue their service in the hospital.
