Mangalore : University college student Deekshith Shetty has been elected as the President of All College Students Union for the year 2014-15 at the programme held at NGO hall near Government College on August 2 Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion Deekshith Shetty said that he was happy to get elected as the president of ACSU and assured to perform his duties and work for the welfare of students.

Deekshith Shetty from University College is elected as the President, Donald Noronha from Canara College – Working President, Mehraj Alam from Sridevi College – General Secretary, Prathik Raj from Padua College – Vice President, Sachin Shetty from Ramakrishna College – Secretary, Chetan D Ullal from University College as Treasurer.

The elected students were taken in a procession on a open Jeep after the election.
