Bangalore: UPA rule in New Delhi is surrounded by wolves in the form of 2G spectrum services, CWG stadium constructions, Adarsh Housing and many other economic scandals and corruption cases touching the high office of PM like flares from surrounding flames these days.
Sonia, AICC Chief and UPA chairperson is guarding a silent PM who is shown disrespect by his own Minister (who was eased out) and by the opposition MPs. The Parliament is not functioning for 3 weeks now and the goose that laid golden eggs is being killed in the name of democracy. The Parliamentarians have lost their eminence and are looking like wild animals of the jungle and not decent citizens of the earth.
Sonia’s normal quiet temperament is now ruffled and she is coming into the open to defend a silent PM surrounded by fires and to denounce BJP which does not follow Congress examples of removing even CMs when they are tainted.
Having battled his own case to a success before BJP national leaders, CM Yeddyurappa is facing Sonia because she is singling him out for resignation as CM in view of certain land deals favouring his family members and local BJP chief too.
CM Yeddyurappa has clashed with Sonia now, challenging her to show evidence or proof of tainted transactions alleged to have been made by him, for which his head has not rolled so far. Congress heads had rolled in Andhra, Maharashtra and New Delhi in Nov, 2010 but the proposed axing did not happen in Bangalore.
The CM was accused of denotification deals by Sonia, but she had only heard about such things from media reports. JD-S and state Congress leaders also had criticised BJP and asked for removal of CM. but they too did not carry any proof or evidence of any embezzled funds and stolen properties. CM wanted evidence of such deals, as some Ministers had resigned recently, but he could not do so. This was made clear to Sonia by joining the issue with her.
