New Delhi: The BJP has predicted that the UPA led Government at the Centre which has completed three years in office, may suffer a downfall any time.
The BJP which discussed the issue at its parliamentary committee meeting, strongly felt that the UPA allies themselves were unhappy over the government as was evident from the abstention of Trinamool Congress leader Mamatha Banerjee for the luncheon hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on his government completing three years in office.
“The three year rule of the UPA government should be written in black words,” the BJP has made a mockery of the Congress by stating so.
BJP spokesperson Shanawaz Hussain said the UPA hosting a luncheon to commemorate its third anniversary was itself a surprise. He further said the government was enjoying the support of only 227 members though it was claiming to have the support of 272 members.
