Mangalore : In a surprise move urban development minister  Vinay Kumar Sorake appointed Harish Kumar, commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation as secretary to minister for urban development. Earlier Harish Kumar has been working as assistant commissioner in Puttur, minister’s original constituency.

Harish Kumar is a hard working bureaucrat who did commendable job during his tenure as commissioner of MCC and it is indeed a loss to Mangalore City Corporation to loose such an officer.
