Mangaluru: A petty fighting between a gang kills notorious Rowdy-sheeter Rohi’s son near Vamanjoor on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Pawan Kumar Shetty (23).

It is said that Pawan, who too was wanted in couple of cases had left his house in Kuttipalkeynear Vamanjur at about 2.30 am on Tuesday. He was later found murdered.

Pawan Kumar Shetty is the son of rowdy sheeter Vamanjoor Rohi who was also murdered in 2009.

It has been learnt that Pawan along with ten others were smoking ganja and later picked up a fight with them which led to the stabbing. All of them were consuming ganja at an old house at Vamanjoor which was their usual place for ganja consumption.

Pawan was a rowdy sheeter involved in several cases, including an attempt to murder case and others. The gang members who were involved in the fight too had many cases against them.

Pawan was recently released from jail on bail. A case registered at Mangaluru rural police station.
