Mangalore : Lions and Lioness Club of Mangalore in association with Shri Gurudeva Public Charitable Trust (regd) of Odiyoor, Rotary Club of Mangalore, Justice K. S. Hegde Charitable Hospital, and Mobile Eye Hospital of Wenlock and KMC jointly organized a special health care camp for BPL card holders at Town Hall on October 28, Friday.
The health camp also included free health insurance, free cataract test and treatment, free embryo and breast cancer check up, and free registration for blood and eye donation also.
Shri Gurudevananda Swamiji of Shri Gurudevadatta Samsthanam of Odiyoor inaugurated the camp and said that it is imoporatnt for a person to serve the needy in their life time and donating blood and eye is considereing as giving future to the society.
Doctors briefed on the importance of eye and blood donation on the occasion. Ln P. Kishore Rao explained on the services rendered by Lions International for the welfare of the society.
