Mangalore : Various organizations organized a day-long fast to extend support to Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev in front of DC Office on June 3, Sunday.

The organizations include Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Patanjali Yoga Samithi, Women’s Patanjali Yoga Samithi, Yuva Bharat, and Kissan Panchayat Karnataka.

Speaking after inaugurating the event, Senior Kannada litterateur Erya Laxminarayan Alva said that the younger generation must fight against the evil practice of corruption in the country.

He also said that people before preaching others on corruption, must make themselves clean from every issues. If not one do not has the right to teach morality.

Social activists like Hanumanth Kamath, BJP leader Sathish Prabhu, Jagadeesh Shetty, Dr Jnaneshwari Nayak, Jayashree, Raghavendra Rao, Ira Nemu Poojary, Padmanabha Shetty and others participated in the fast.
