Mangalore: Union Minister M Veerappa Moily visited the Ladygoschen Hospital in Mangalore on January 12, Saturday and inspected the site where the new state-of-the art building of the hospital is to come up.
Moily said the ONGC-MRPL would be funding Rs 21.74 crore for the project as part of its corporate social responsibility. He said the foundation would be laid on February 9 and the works would be monitored by of the DC. The tenders would open on January 28, he said and added CM Jagadish Shettar will lay foundation for the project. The union minister also said the works are expected to be completed within two years.
