Mangalore: The District Youth Congress has organised a vehicle rally in Mangalore on January 15 to protest against the style of functioning of the state government.

Speaking to reporters in Mangalore, Mithun Rai, District Youth Congress President,  said the rally will be flagged off at  Urva grounds at 3.30 pm and it will reach Kannur grounds via Ladyhill,  Jyothi, Balmatta, Bendurewell, Pumpwell, Nagori and Alape.

He said several party leaders will participate in the rally. At Kannur grounds various awareness programmes like street play will be presented, he added.

Continuing, he said the BJP government has forgotten good governance and was immersed in internal differences which has affected the development of the state.

Praveenchandra, Ivan D’Souza, Ashraf and other party leaders were present.
