Mangaluru: After Dakshina Kannada district declare as Covid 19 hotspot, the police taken strict action against vehiculer movement. A  total of 265 vehicles were seized on Thursday, April 16 for plying on the streets.

Twelve autorickshaw, 75 cars and 178 two wheelers have been seized today while around 106 vehicles were seized on Wednesday, April 15.

City police commissioner Dr Harsha in an earlier tweet had said that no private vehicles should ply on the streets.

However people are taking out their vehicles thus forcing the police to initiate action against the violators.
