Mangaluru: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is observing Vigilance awareness week 2017 as per the directives of Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) from 30th October 2017 to 4th November 2017. A vendors’ meet was organized at MRPL as a part of the program. More than 300 vendors participated in the vendors meet organized at MRPL Employees club on 3rd November 2017.

Shri H Kumar, Managing Director, MRPL, speaking on the occasion said that the vendors and contractors are the partners of MRPL. In today’s world where crude prices and exchange rate is very volatile, it is very essential to do the cost cutting and be competitive in supplying the goods and services. Shri M Venkatesh, Director Refinery and Shri A K Sahoo, Director Finance, Shri Rajeev Kushwah, ITS, CVO, gave the key note address.

A detailed presentation and special sessions on the GST and Government e-Market place website (GeM) were highlights of the meet. A very useful interactive session followed in which various vendors raised their grievances and suggested ways for further improvements. The vendors meet was organized by MRPL Materials department.
