Mangalore : The Vishwa Hindu Parishath in association with Bajarangdal of DK district will organize a ‘Blood donation camp’ in memory of the martyrs of Ayodhya on October 30, Sunday, said Jagadish Shenava, vice president of Vishwa Hindu Parishath.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on October 28, Friday, he said that the VHP workers Kothari brother like Ram Kumar Kothari and Anuj Sharad Kothari had lost their life in police firing when they were working to establish a Ram Mandir at Ayodhya in 1990, hence this camp will be held in respect to them from 9 am to 4 pm in Sharadha Vidyalaya of Kodialbail, Mangalore, Shanmukhananda Hall of Beluvai at Moodbidri and Sharadhotsava Samithi, Kolya, Ullal.
Three hospitals including KMC, Wenlock and KSHEMA will assist he organization to hold the camp. Around 1000 workers will donate the blood on the occasion, he said.
VHP president Manohar Thulajaram, general secretary Gopal Kutthar, Bajarangdal district convener Sivanand Mendon and district publicity chief Praveen Kutthar were present at the press meet.
