Mangalore: The transfer matter of Bajpe SI Dinakar Shetty is an arranged conspiracy and no lathis were used on school children said Sharan Pumpwell, division convener of Bajarangdal, Mangalore.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Feb 8, Wednesday, he said that no lathis were used on group of school children who were protesting against the lack of a speed breaker in front of the school on January 16 and none of them were hurt, but in order to blow up the issue, they admitted some of the children in the hospital. The political representatives are interfering in this minor case to transfer the SI.
He said that if SI Dinakar shetty did not interfere in the matter, then it would lead communal violence. It is not right to transfer sincere officials for the profit of other political representatives, he said. If the authorities pass a transfer order to him, then VHP and Bajarangdal will hold a violent protest.
Speaking about the valentine day celebration, he said that the VHP and Bajarangdal activists will hold a Bike rally in the city on Feb 13, Monday, to create awareness on the Valentine Day celebration.
He also said that they will urge the district administration and submit a memorandum requesting to close all the party’s within 11 pm and cancel the permission to DJ’s and Pubs on Feb 14.

No protests will be held since District In charge minister Krishna J Palemar has already given resignation to his posts and being guilty is known after the investigation on the mobile ownership matter.
