Mangalore : In a press meet organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal  at their office in Lakshminagar Apartments near P.V.S Circle in city on Tuesday12th November 2013, Jagadish Shenava , VHP leader told the press that a Hindu woman converted to Islam(Aysha Banu) had been arrested in Panjimogaru on Monday, due to issues relating to Indian Mujaheedin(IM), Love Jihad and terrorist activities of bomb blasts and financing such activities.

VHP leader warned the government about the conversion center Ponnani in Kerala where several Hindu women were attracted by money and converted to Islam only to carry out dangerous and illegal activities along with Muslim youths at large. Hindu young women, Shenava said must guard against Love Jihad and such other tendencies which attract them in the beginning, but end up in jail sentences and similar punishments in the high of low.

Gopal Kuttar(VHP), Bhujanga Kulal (Bajrang dal), and Punith Kumar (Bajrang Dal) , VHP leaders were present during the press conference.
