Mangaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishath and Bhajaranga Dal jointly held special rituals to condemn the derogatory comments and facebook posts against Kateel Sri Durga Parameshwari goddess, at Sharavu Mahaganapthi Temple on Saturday.

Sharavu Raghavedra Shasthri led the rituals at the temple.

A monogram will be sent to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the issue, said Bhajaranga Dal state Convener Sharan Pumpwell.

Mohandasa Swamiji of Maniladhama, M B Puranik, Jagadeesh Shenava and other leaders were present.
